My Bio


For over twenty years, I have helped teams and leaders identify where they are, determine where they want to go, and map the path to get there.  Through facilitation, coaching, and consultation, I support people and organizations to arrive successfully at their chosen destinations.  

In my work, I draw on my own leadership experience as a director, manager, professor, consultant and leadership coach.  My experience allows me to understand the challenge of leading and making positive change in complex organizations. 

I'm told that my straightforward style ensures that clients see immediate benefits of getting on the right path while my humour and creativity ensures that they enjoy the journey. 

My formal qualifications include designations as both a Professional Certified Coach and a Certified Human Resources Leader. As a life-long learner, I've also earned a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Arts in Leadership and Training and post-baccalaureate certificates in Human Resources and Executive Coaching.

If it is useful to my clients, I like to use assessments.   I've completed certification in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, the Change Style Inventory, Strengths Deployment Inventory, William Bridges' Managing Transitions program, APPA's Supervisor's Toolkit, and the Team Diagnostic Assessment.  I've also completed specific training in Organizational Asessment, Immunity to Change, group coaching and using graphics to enhance facilitation and coaching.
